By downloading or using Closer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Closer. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@getcloser.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
When using Closer, you agree not to:
You retain ownership of any content you create within Closer. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your partner.
You are solely responsible for the content you share within the app. We do not review private conversations between partners.
Closer may offer premium features through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your device's account settings after purchase. Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of Apple or Google. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
All content, features, and functionality of Closer — including the app design, prompts, branding, and code — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our prior written consent.
Closer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Closer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. If you wish to terminate your account, you may contact us at support@getcloser.app to request permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for the resolution of any disputes arising under these Terms.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via the app or email before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of Closer after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
